Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CourtIQ mobile application and web application (the "Service") operated by Pivot Training ("we", "our", "us").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CourtIQ, you agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Account Registration

You may create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration.

3. The Service

CourtIQ provides basketball performance tracking tools including real-time stat logging, game film recording, analytics dashboards, drill libraries, mental game journaling, and AI coaching insights. Features vary between the Free and Pro subscription tiers.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Free Tier: Limited to 5 games, 15 drills, and 10 journal entries per month.
• Pro Tier: $4.99/month or $39.99/year. Unlocks unlimited usage, Game Film, radar charts, training packs, data export, and advanced analytics.
• Payments are processed through Stripe or Apple In-App Purchase.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled per Apple's or Stripe's refund policies.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all data you create in CourtIQ (game stats, journal entries, shot data, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code from the app
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems to access the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

7. Privacy

Your use of CourtIQ is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your information.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved indefinitely. AI coaching insights are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional athletic training advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pivot Training shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
